Keller took part in the development of Resorts World Sentosa from September 2007 to October 2008. This project required reclamation of approximately 64,000 square meters at the northern part of the island. Deep soil mixing was the solution used for strengthening the reclamation fill and soft clay.
The East Coast Expressway Phase II is 190km long and it runs from Jabur Interchange, Pahang to Kuala Terengganu. Keller installed Vibro stone columns, Vibro sand columns, Dynamic replacement columns and Prefabricated vertical drains to ensure road embankment stability and to restrict settlements.
From 2003 to 2007, Keller was engaged to carry out various types of grouting work, including rock fissure grouting, compaction grouting and jet grouting for the development of SMART tunnel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Keller installed Vibro stone columns to support 19 m high iron ore stockpiles using the dry bottom-feed method to avoid environmental impact on the nearby coastline during construction. Under the massive stacker reclaimers, Keller installed 1.2 m diameter Bored piles, ensuring that the rails remain straight and serviceable during operations
Keller in collaboration with Resource Piling performed Preliminary Compression Pile load tests of 7,500 ton and one Preliminary Tension Pile load test of 2,400 ton. A trial grouting work was also carried out over an 800 square meter area.
Over 370 Bored piles that ranged from 600 mm to 1,600 mm in diameters were installed by Resource Piling for the construction of a data processing and computing facility. Keller performed cavity probing and cavity grouting works.
In preparation for Bored piling, Keller performed cavity probing and cavity grouting works using Compaction grouting for the construction of a 20-storey residential building at Jurong West Neighbourhood 1.
Resource Piling installed over 900 Secant and Contiguous bored piles for the retaining walls of the 19-storey community hospital. Extensive road diversions and earthworks were also done in this project.
